Hi,

I'm porting some VPI code which was working fine on NC to VCS.
I've already stumbled across my 4th issue. Is there a FAQ anywhere which describes subtlties between various implementations of the VPI?

Here they are with solutions where applicable:

1.) VCS uses TAB files the routine vpi_register_systf is not supported
2.) When registering a callback, the cb_data.time field can be NULL on NC but must be valid on VCS
3.) Strings passed from Verilog to VPI are left-padded with blanks on VCS (the blanks are stripped on NC)
4.) My working code crashes on VCS Sad

Internal error: Unable to locate Eblk in scheduler
Run time internal error: contact Synopsys VCS Customer Support:
(6100; sched.c)

vcs_support, get ready...

I rarely dive into PLI/VPI code but I have many years of dabbling...

Thanks,
/Ed
