(Originally from Issue 1.6, Item 7.0)
From: Mark Kelley
We are gearing up for a new project and evaluating whether to create
our new verification environment in Vera, Specman, or verilog. I was
wondering if anyone has experience using both Vera and Specman. I'm
looking for an unbiased opinion about the pros and cons of each.
I understand the advantages of using a HVL over verilog and have
spoken with both Verisity and Synopsys. Some of our team members have
experience in "e" others in Vera. So we have two different camps.
Any feedback is welcome. |
