I'm using NCsim for full-chip gate-level simulations. Is there a way
to obtain toggle coverage statistics in NCsim? |

From: Christer Cederberg
NC-Sim and its big brother, Incisive unified simulator, ship with
complete code coverage technology. Since LDV 5.0 (early 2003),
Cadence has included coverage technology for Block, Path, Expression,
Toggle and FSM (state, transition and sequence) coverage. The
coverage technology, like NC-Sim, is language neutral and operates on
mixed Verilog and VHDL designs.
Toggle coverage is available for Verilog in LDV 5.0 using the
$vertoggle pli call (with optional arguments). Starting in LDV 5.1S1,
toggle coverage also is provided for VHDL. The ictncsim switch -toggle
then requests toggle coverage for any language. Please see Chapter 9
on Toggle Coverage in the ICT User Guide for more information.
