1. Yes, this is what I want.

2. While I am on this request mode, a search engine within your verification guild would be nice.
I tried Google search on "Debugging long random simulations verification guild" as a test case, but that did not lead to your site.

3. What happened to the > 4K members? I see that the total today is We have 466 registered users. That ~10% of your orginal newsletter membership. Any rationale for this? Are people reluctant to switch?I can't believe that there is a lack of interest.

The Google Webcrawler has visited the site and it is supposed to be set-up to allow the content to be indexed.

Searching vor "verificationguild.com" does yield a reference to this site
but not keywords based on article content. If you looked at the cached page for verificationguild.com at Google, it is dated Jan 6. So recent articles are not indexed.

I'm keeping an eye on this as it is a very important traffic generator.

I do not know! Most visitors do not register as it is not needed to read the contribution - only to post or subscribe to digests.

I've poked Google from several angles...

It appears that the PHP-Nuke portion of the site has been indexed but not the PHPbb (the forums) portion.

Well, I'm learning more about Google and indexing and spidering than ever cared to know...

The main issue is that Google is suspicious of dynamic site
(e.g. URLs that contain "foo.php?bar=3&t=34" stuff).

Apparently, the higher the page rank and the older the site,
the deeper the site will be indexed. So it would help if as many people
would redirect their old link to janick.bergeron.com (which ranked 6/10) to this new site (which now ranks 5/10).

The other solution is to play a re-write game with the URLs. I have all of the software in place but I need to check with my provider for some functionality that is required.

So, stay tuned.

Janick,
I still would like ot see a link to "view most recent posts", just like "view unanswered posts".

Well, it looks like Google has finally indexed the content of the topics/threads. However, their ranking is still low so they may not turn up in a search unless it is rather specific.
