| | · How can I form a local chapter? Just do it. Take a leadership role in your local verification community and get people together. The moderator of this website does not need to be present.
The only rules are:
- The meetings must be public and open to anyone. They cannot be limited to customers or users of a particular tool or EDA vendor.
- They can be sponsored by an EDA company, but must remain technical in nature. Any sponsorship must be clearly stated upfront.
- You can ask for a (small) cover charge to help cover the cost of renting an appropriate venue, but they should otherwise be free. The moderator of this website disclaims any financial responsibility or garantees and any direct or indirect cost associated with meetings are the responsibility of the local organizers. Consider getting an EDA company to sponsor a venue - and drinks!
You can break those rules, but you can't call yourself a "Verification Guild" chapter if you do.
The larger community would also appreciate if you posted a summary of the meetings and discussions to this website.
